Love List June 2015

posted by yazmin

I know I say it every month, but where did June go? I feel like I was just getting ready to go on our Bermuda cruise and it’s already 4 weeks later! It was a super busy month filled with an amazing vacation, my sister-in-law’s bridal shower, a girl’s weekend away, exploring new parks, and strawberry picking.

Love List June 2015

Here are a few of my favorite things about June 2015.

Norwegian Breakaway

Cruising on the Norwegian Breakaway

The biggest highlight of the month was our cruise from New York to Bermuda on the Norwegian Breakaway. It was our first time to Bermuda and I’d go back in a heartbeat. The trip was a great way for the whole family to bond away from the chaos of home.

Vera Bradley Backpack

Since I only have one baby in diapers I don’t usually need to carry a giant diaper bag. I bought this backpack for our cruise and love it. It’s the perfect size to carry everything I need for myself and the kids while still looking chic. I’ve already worn it on the cruise, amusement parks, and children’s museums — all places where you have to leave your stroller behind. It gives me free hands which is so important when I’m trying to keep track of three little ones.

Orange is the New Black

Orange

Like many people, we spent June binge watching Orange is the New Black. It wasn’t my favorite season but there’s just something about it that makes me keep watching.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

Ives Farm CSA

This month I signed up and started receiving a CSA from Ives Farm in Cheshire, CT. It’s my first summer trying it out. We receive one basket of fresh fruits and vegetables each week until the end of October for $300. I decided to split it with a friend and it’s plenty of food. I love the idea of supporting a local farm while getting to try foods that I wouldn’t normally eat. This week I tried cooking squash flowers for the first time!

Material Girl Sandal

I bought these sandals for myself a few weeks ago and haven’t taken them off since. They’re super cute with the bow and a little bit of bling. I love that you can dress them up but they’re still casual enough to wear day-to-day.
