I wanted to add a little something to the Christmas decorations I’ve had for a few years. I thought a DIY Burlap Christmas Tree would make the perfect addition.

A Burlap Christmas Tree is a quick and easy Christmas craft that even the little ones can help with. It would also make cute DIY Christmas gift.

Supplies

• Styrofoam Cone
• Green Burlap
• Foam Star
• Ribbon/Beads
• Stickers/Buttons/Rhinestones
• Glitter
• Toothpick
• Glue Gun

Wrap Tree in Burlap

I used several pieces of burlap and wrapped in alternating directions to get a layered look. I used a glue gun to secure in place.

 Attach Garland

I used a string of beads as garland but this would also be a great craft to use up leftover ribbon.

Hang Ornaments

I used rhinestones and glued on little stars as ornaments.

Decorate Star

I covered the star in glitter. Paint would work great here too.

Put the Star on Top

I’m really happy with the way my Burlap Christmas tree came out. It was the perfect size and height to decorate my entry table. What do you think?
