Trunk or Treat in Connecticut 2017

posted by yazmin

Halloween is still a few weeks away and already the fall festivities have started throughout Connecticut. Many local towns are getting in on the fun by holding trunk or treat events.

If you’ve never been to a trunk or treat (also known as trick or trunk or Halloween tailgating) don’t worry, the concept is simple. The events are held in community parking lots for a safe and convenient way to go trick-or-treating. Local businesses and neighbors decorate their cars with festive displays. Little ones dress up in their Halloween costumes and walk from car to car asking for treats. It’s a safer alternative than trick-or-treating on busy or poorly lit roads.

Trunk or Treat 2016 CT

There are a ton of towns hosting trunk or treat events this year. Many of them have special contests for the best decorated cars and best costumes. This list is just a sample of the the events going on in the state. If you have a town you would like added to the list please leave it in the comments below.
