Road Rippers Dancing Car

Disclosure: I was provided a complimentary Road Rippers car to use for a product review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

My son turned 2-years-old last month so we’ve only begun our adventures into planes, trains, and automobiles. As expected, he has an affinity for anything that lights up and makes noise so when I received Road Rippers Dancing Car Mini Cooper it became an immediate hit with my son and his two older sisters. The car is recommended for kids ages 3+ but my little one still had plenty of fun.

The car comes with 4 AA batteries included (SCORE!) so it is able to be used immediately out of the package. I made the mistake of showing the Mini Cooper to my kids before dinner. Let’s just say getting them to focus on eating some boring pasta was more difficult than usual.

The Mini Cooper is a miniature replica of the adult car. It comes in a vibrant red color with fun stickers on both sides and hood of the car. It has four oversized rubber wheels that helps the car dance up and down (think hydraulics). The car is only about 10 inches long so it’s the perfect size to fit under little hands as it gets pushed around your living room. I expected the car to move straight on its own too, but my kids didn’t even notice or expect more from the toy.

The car has four orange buttons on the top of the car. The largest button makes the car dance and the other make 3 real engine sounds. There’s even a switch underneath that mutes the noise of the car but still allows little ones to make the car dance (only the sound of the car moving up and down remains). When the car is muted only the lights flash inside the car.

My kids have really enjoyed playing with the Road Rippers Dancing Car. All of the sounds, movement, and lights have held their attention. I love the little things that make this toy parent-friendly including coming equipped with batteries and the ability to mute the excess noise.
