Homemade Bath Paints
We recently made homemade bath paints for some indoor fun. It’s a great rainy day activity. The kids could help with the preparation and fun!
Bath Finger Paints Ingredients
1 cup corn starch
1/3 cup body wash
1/3 cup water
food coloring
I let the girls get in on the fun of creating the finger paints. They love helping in the kitchen so I knew they would enjoy adding all of the ingredients and mixing them up.
When it was the perfect glue-like consistency I poured the mixture into a muffin pan and added food coloring.
TIP: An empty plastic egg carton would also do the trick, and be disposable!
The girls had a blast drawing all over the bathtub with their paints. Everything washed away without leaving a trace. Plus, my bathtub was a little cleaner than before we started!
This is definitely an activity worth repeating on future rainy or cold winter days. What are some of your favorite rainy days activities?
