5 Fun Easter Traditions

Holidays are a pretty big deal in my house. I love decorating the house for every holiday and giving my little ones a few surprises to make them feel special no matter what the occasion.
This year I’m hoping to attend a few new Easter Bunny events and we might start the day off with bunny shaped pancakes. Here are a few of my favorite ways to make Easter extra special for my little bunnies.
Trail of Jelly Beans
Last year we started the tradition of having our girls go on a hunt for their Easter baskets. We left a trail of jelly beans starting outside of their bedroom, down the stairs, until they finally reached their Easter baskets filled with goodies. It was a sweet little way to start a fun day.
Personalized Easter Bunny Basket
I always give my kids personalized gifts for the holidays. I fell in love with this little Easter Bunny basket from Gifts For You Now last year for Andrew’s first Easter. I had his name embroidered into the bunny’s ear. I love that he’ll have it for years to come. Easter Egg Hunt
Along with our own at-home Easter egg hunt we try to attend at least one hunt in the community. This year I want to go to Stew Leonard’s Easter Egg Hunt Eggs-Travaganza.
Pictures with the Easter Bunny
Getting your picture taken with the Easter Bunny is one of the those things that is probably more enjoyable for the parent than the child but those pictures are often priceless. You can find the Easter Bunny at your local mall and even Easter breakfasts in the neighborhood.
Dye Easter Eggs
I’m planning on dyeing Easter eggs this year with my kids. It’s a tradition that I had as a kid that I’d love to share with my little ones. Once all the eggs are dyed I’m going to use super cute egg molds to encourage my kids to eat the eggs.
